It really is. Also Morehouse doing this invited antiblackness from people responding. It wasn't cool Morehouse did it, & they have a lot of issues as an institution, but white people lacking context that it's an HBCU don't belong in discussion of it.
Yeah given the racial labor dynamics of this occuring at at Historically Black College and University (HBCU) it's real weird to simplify this to just some raceless rich people, my guy.
Yeah Morehouse choosing to do this is disappointing but it isn't surprising. But it's also not a conversation for those who didn't even know Morehouse existed less than 24 hours ago, smh.
We should be able to add a captcha to topics to limit those who can address them. Like, “without opening another app, name 3 famous Morehouse alumni” or “correctly assign these Black authors to their undergraduate institutions.”
