Sometimes but it's fairly specific situations, and it's complicated. Mostly it's a "don't make it worse don't make it worse don't make it worse oh no you're making it wooooorse...." reaction for me I think?

Yeah I have seen people lose access to help by not knowing when to stop talking or even throw in a thank you

I feel like a judge mental monster bitch but like!!! Some people could learn to fawn just a tiny bit!

sometimes i feel the other way too tho - like i see someone putting up with crap and i think "noooo! run! fight back!"

I am amazed by people who can’t or don’t want to fawn. Some people are just always ready to fight! They have no instinct to placate or submit to others. I can barely comprehend this
