feeling sorry for myself and angry at other people for something that hasn't even happened yet and I need to snap out of it

I am constantly reminding myself to prepare for what's to come but only react to what is happening now. If I focus on the worry of future states it takes me out of the present moment (and makes me less able to deal with that future state anyway!) I am always working on this.

I used to do that a lot, not as much now since therapy. It’s just thoughts, thoughts aren’t facts.

thoughts are not facts! or as my therapist would ask, "do you actually *know* this?"
