I asked the programs about the alleged minute long delay in broadcasting that CNN has already shot down. Both programs regurgitated the misinformation and the conspiracy theory that a delay would be used to edit footage. www.nbcnews.com/tech/interne...

Copilot cited Lou Dobbs’ blog, which cited an unsourced tweet. ChatGPT cited @katiecouric and UPI, but neither of those articles contained the misinformation it attributed to them.

Funnily enough, even though the misinformation originally spread on X, Grok repeatedly debunked it when I asked.

What completely boggles my mind is how anyone thinks a two minute delay is enough to do any "editing" other than dropping a few words or sentences. It's not a useful delay.
