(I mean there's no like making out or anything but it's actually very much gay, there are wives. We generally write our scripts pretty gender-neutral and cast who works. This one also has a nonbinary actor; last year we cast a 12-year-old girl as an adult man and drew a mustache on her and it ruled)
And ofc half the crew is gay and/or trans to begin with. I think this succeeded in the biggest way I like to see queer stuff when the story isn’t explicitly about queer stuff: it exists and is unremarkable
