wow omg wow the beadiest eyes
i heard a commotion in the trumpet vine and he fell out of it, and he got up like nothing happened. at first i thought it was a red squirrel
casual "oh hey, heard you were rewilding your yard"
that’s what i’m hoping.. i mean it can’t be a coincidence. i’ve never seen one before. he’s probably after the chipmunks that tore down my bur oak which i am really bummed about

try planting marigolds around it next time?
i didn’t know chipmunks don’t like marigolds..
learned that marigolds are an all purpose repellent recently myself
