I’ve been reading Indigenous Continent, which is very interesting
but also it feels sometimes like he doesn’t have a great handle on American geography? anybody else read the book/seen that?
like one paragraph starts by talking about Americans pushing indigenous Californians off the land
then he tells a story about a massacre in the Walla Walla valley
he concludes the paragraph with numbers on the population collapse of California Indians
but the Walla Walla Valley is not California!
