Someone involved with the production must be able to sue for lost residuals or royalties musn’t they? It wouldn’t be that hard to prove lost income to a judge or arbitrator.
There's been phishing for a while. Lately we're most afraid of spear phishing. Now we need a term for someone who is strutting alluringly waiting to be spear phished, hopefully someone with access to the vaults where the movie's been relegated to.
This makes absolutely no sense. The money they spent on making the movie is already gone. What they are saying here is that they will make more money writing it off on their taxes then they will make selling it to the public.
Warner Bros is a publicly traded company. They should be required to state how much they will save by writing off this movie, and then Disney and everybody else should be given the opportunity to buy it for that much.
I want to see this movie so badly, I don't think the studio has a clue. I can easily see this movie making +200 million in Box Office and bunch of more in streaming.
