First game at Camden Yards since grad school
We’re midway through our annual Presentation Skills workshop. I talked about some principles and techniques for improving scientific talks, and now the students are in pairs discussing their own slides with each other. In a little while, we’ll regather as a group and discuss what we learned.
Visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame for the first time. It’s a great museum.
Just had an amazing dinner at a place called The French Quarter. First time I’ve been here. Fantastic food and shockingly low prices. I love the paintings on the wall too, by local artist Richmond Futch.
For some reason, Rochester does its Pride stuff in July.
