Does someone who was unemployed for a long time have insights into how to get employed? Sure ofc I think I'm a better math teacher for having "been bad at math" for a long time The interesting q is why these services, to the extent they're additive, don't get pulled into "official" institutions

What official institution would they make sense in? Btw, I think part of what's happening here is a shortage of licensed therapists.

You may be right! Educational institutions seem one natural place. They already provide things in this class, so it doesn't seem like too much of a stretch. But then maybe being outside is exactly the differentiation.
