watching the same Bondi Rescue clips over and over again because seeing humans save each other from death (by drowning mostly) just feels healing right now

You'd think by now, with 7ish months of cancer treatment under my belt, that I'd fully understand the cycle of: treatment → feeling like shit and having no appetite for a week and some change → feeling better and slowly regaining my appetite → feeling back to normal → treatment again.

I have to take quite a few pills. The pill that brings me some of the most relief - from nausea, anxiety, and as a sleep aide, Ativan, is this extremely tiny pill, but it packs a punch. Why can’t all pills just be teeny tiny? Why do we have monster horse pills?

spent most of yesterday and some of today puking my guts out 🤢 fun times on the cancer treatment train choo choo

my hospital experience so far: teams of doctors, case workers, etc come into my room, infodump tons of information at me, ask me a ton of questions, ask me how they can help me/what they can do for me? all while I’m zonked out of my mind on pain pills and sedatives. 🫠

let me tell you, hospital ketamine is amazing

I go in for a biopsy of a swollen lymph node tomorrow. This is all so similar to when I was first diagnosed except back then I was way more scared. I'm a bit more weathered and aware now and am just wanting to get things moving on the treatment front.
