Where are the consequences for directors and showrunners in anim who change things in post, make new scenes and generally treat the pre production process as a story jumping off point for them to adjust when it's over ? Does it matter if you so poorly lead a show that it leads your team to burnout ?

If the showrunner is a person who has never worked in animation, I hate it but I can kind of get how they don't understand the pipeline, but I'm always surprised and chagrined at the people who've *worked in animation* before that still do this.

It's not a goddamn documentary, you're not filming as much footage you can and then picking and choosing what to keep, it's a terrible strain on the animator's wrists
