For anyone. I went to see Dépêche Mode, I’m pretty well travelled but I’ve never felt so uneasy. Massive open use of heroin on street corners. Very low police presence too. Makes London and Manchester seem perfect. I’d just ask them to be cautious that’s all. All from my experience I must add.
So it seems Sophie. I’ve lived in Manchester for all my life and never really had any serious issue but my eyes aren’t blind to shite going on around me.
There's shite wherever you go, but that doesn't mean it's not safe. Generally, if you're not involved in the shite it doesn't bother you, in my experience.
I'm particularly on this atm as there are far right people saying cities aren't safe because of refugees, certain religions, skin colours etc
I am no expert on what causes it. And hadn’t ever thought it was a race or religion issue. But seeing people shoot up heroin in broad daylight makes Manchester and London nicer than Frankfurt. That was my point because that shit still goes on but maybe we don’t see it on our daily routine.
I wasn't saying it was connected to race or religion. I was saying that people like Nigel Farage and other strange far-right people are punting around a lie that there are no-go areas in London, Manchester and other cities "because *blank* has made it too dangerous for white people"
