The way the studios are trying to force AI as part of the deal rejoins l reminds me of companies saying "We heard you have complaints with us using NFTs. We plan to empathetically keep using them, but we ARE listening"
This is really sharp, thanks for sharing. I'm struck that this strike is both about an equitable distribution of profits AND the very existence of the job itself, as even replacing 15% of the work with AI treatment would wreck the entire shop.
