Ice cold take that's 10 years too late: I love micromobility. Biking, skating, scooting, even monowheeling, but there's no way to ride a hoverboard that doesn't make you look like a massive tool.

Yesterday a whole crank arm fell off my bike. My fault for not checking the screw tension regularly. Thankfully nothing stripped, and the screw landed right next to it. Imagine my surprise at "what's that wobble?" CLANK

I pronounce both bike repairs and self repairs a success. Today I returned to bike commuting, 2 months to the day since the crash.

New bike day. Got me a Zizzo Ferro folding bike. Small enough to be a carry on on a train, or fit in the trunk of the car. It's less for getting somewhere as it is for getting around a place once I get there.

Random thought. If I had a nickle for every bike riding Catholic world leader....I'd have two nickles, but it's still weird that it happened twice.
