oh, I also really hated the brunch metaphor, which was used a lot to shut down women and queer people who correctly pointed out that a Trump SCOTUS would absolutely strike down Roe v Wade
Those people never felt more alive than when they were reposting videos of BLM protesters getting teargassed. They didn't want things to be normal again
