Big issue for indie artists: everything (rent, food, supplies, booth fees) costs a lot more than it did 10-15 years ago, but somehow people still expect that things they buy at festivals or markets should cost $25

But seriously, “well, if you change your mind, the market’s open until 6 tonight, but I can’t promise that this handmade one of-a-kind bag will still be here!”
We’re going to the Sawdust Festival in Laguna tomorrow. I can’t imagine insulting the artists like that, but then, some people just have no nice manners.
I bet they don’t do that at LouisVuitton. My rule of thumb is - Yes I will absolutely pay $65 to an indie artist + donate if they are asking for donations. Ask for massive discounts at mass producing Store chains.
