I can't get enough of the old city bc I'm a builder by trade, and I just can't get over the skilled tradework it took to build the quays, the extravagant masonry buildings, the bridges, so I just walk around like slack-jawed fool 🤣

Oh man. I live near Lille and we have old Flemish architecture everywhere. I'm not a builder, I'm a driver, but I still get a buzz looking at it all. They really put some passion into their work back in the day.
