the internet can be a bad place too with people who do need to touch grass but it’s a beautiful tool for folks looking for community where they don’t have it in person/locally amongst so many other benefits. it’s a tool and it’s how we collectively choose to use it
there is absolutely room to criticize terminally online folks who argue posting is praxis. however, twitter taught me what i need to know to escape a cult and access HRT. reddit cracked my egg. twitter and bluesky helped me reconnect with my jewish heritage. it’s a mistake to write it all off.
