Thought my party could handle a fistful of beholderkin, but man do a few bad saving throws cause things to snowball fast when you're getting half a dozen status effects aimed your way. At least now they should have a healthy fear of getting too close to Gzemnid's realm.

My wife likes to play a battlemaster halfling and open combat with a five attack barrage on whatever enemy looks like they're in charge.

More dungeon crawling in the Undermountain today.

Since new dwarf art has gone and gotten people zesty, this seems to be an appropriate contribution.

Echo knight plans went to the backburner briefly while we did a wild west-themed one-shot inspired by the recent 5e orc art. Went for a thri-kreen instead since more arms = more guns.

Likely going to make a fighter tomorrow. Now I just need to resist the siren song of battlemaster and maybe give a different subclass a try.

Some day I suppose I should finish reading my copy of the PF2 Abomination Vaults adventure so I can potentially run it.

Well, my party wants to continue playing Icewind Dale RotF past where the book ends, so I guess it's time to get a copy of the 3.5 Frostburn book and do some converting, then see if I they want to run things all the way to lvl20.

New D&D 5.5 MM cover. Don't love the staggered release schedule, but I do love the new art for each of the core book covers.

Going to be going into a higher-level campaign soon. Thinking of trying out the conquest paladin/undead warlock duo to see how it goes. Now I just need as many abilities/magic items that can cause fear.

So my party decided they want to basically play their Fortune's Wheel campaign as a Spice and Wolf campaign. This is delightful.
