I'm not surprised, but this is bad politics on Gascon's part. Gascon was elected only with the help of a left-wing coalition, he remains extremely unpopular with the right and center-right, who have already tried to recall him. He's spitting in the face of his only supporters.

No me sorprende. DA's in California are full of it.
