The Senate is marking up the NDAA tomorrow. The head R Wicker has a plan endorsed by McConnell.
In the 1st year it'd be a 7% increase above 2024 levels.
Over 10 years, it'd increase defense by ~$6 trillion. By 2034, defense would be $2.1 trillion, a 90% increase above baseline.
This defense plan, when combined with the Republican plan to permanently extend the Trump tax cuts, would total $10 trillion over the decade.
