The Mormon History Association’s annual conference is underway! This year it’s near Kirtland, and the opening plenary featured the LDS Church Historian Kyle McKay discuss the recent acquisition of historic properties.

Best part of the session: after expressing his wish—though it’s not his decision—to rebuild the Mormon print office behind the Kirtland temple, he added, “however, I can promise we won’t be rebuilding the bank across the temple.”
