I wish there was a good desktop Pathfinder 1 character manager so I didn’t feel bad making my players play in the system I prefer for fantasy heroics. For all that D&D Beyond still isn’t amazing, it beats hand-rolling spreadsheets for each character.

When I played pf1 regularly I used @pcgen.bsky.social for character sheets, it was nice but this was nearly a dozen years ago so I don't know what it's like today.

Thanks for the lead! I will check it out 😃

Interface is largely the same but there's a lot more data and books. And like always we're still free and open source. PCGen.org

On one hand my brain is trying to figure out why you’d need a spreadsheet for a character. On the other hand I run Numenera so I’m also going, “Yah, I understand.” My brain is weird. Also do any VTTs have PF1E installs you can export to a sheet after character creation?

It’s not quite as bad as 5e or P3 for character creation: the complexity builds slowly as characters level. But especially for tracking all the transient effects & non-stacking modifiers, it makes a huge difference not to have to do it by hand. This is the display tab of one of mine…

I'm a spreadsheet guy, most of my (non vtt) characters sheets are spreadsheets
