NO MORE NOISE is so fucking dense visually, textually, plot-wise, etc. It creaks under its own weight but still works somehow
ORION is a mess of nonsense info-dumps, but there are little diamonds here and there scattered throughout; the seeds of what could have been an incredible, coherent epic
No More Noise for me isn't about the plot. It's about character studies. What plot there is is just a frame to hang fun moments with the crew on.
It really is! I like how it's nothing world-changing, just a TON of everyday conflicts all happening at once.
I finally got a copy of the all-in-one Ghost in the Shell hardcover! I need to make time to sit down with it this summer.
