How many social media have you outlived? For me it's usenet, LiveJournal, blogs, and now Twitter. Now when I pick up a new online place to have conversation I know it's not going to be there forever. Fortunately we keep making new ones to move on to.

I cannot say enough good things about the Argo. Any book I want, they either have or get for me; if I don't know what I want, they've never steered me wrong. They champion local writers in a way the big box stores never can. If you can, support them.
