I will bang this drum forever: in THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE FREE: THE GERMANS, 1933-45 Milton Mayer interviewed 10 ordinary Germans after WW2 to learn how fascism took hold. There was never a moment when everyone woke up:
if you’re waiting for everyone around you to wake up, you’ll wait forever. this is how the people grinding our bones to make their bread WANT you to be. paralyzed, alienated & purposeless

I truly don’t understand the mewing. Grow up and put in the work and support so that the candidate who isn’t a convicted felon, insurrectionist, fascist, fraudster, megalomaniac gets elected and that the candidate who is a convicted felon, insurrectionist, fascist, fraudster, megalomaniac loses.

Disruption is not violence. Inconvenience is not violence. Annoyance is not violence. Protests are not violence. Emory enlisting an armed police force to drag protestors out of the Quad, to fire pepper balls, to use tasers: that’s violence.

This is just to say, most courtroom proceedings are insanely boring. It's astonishing more folks don't fall asleep.

You can either acknowledge that immigrants are just like us and figure out how to best welcome them or you can view immigrants as a problem to be defeated and the Democrats are on the wrong side. Offer a new vision, cowards. www.hamiltonnolan.com/p/anti-immig...
Anti-Immigration Democrats Fuck Offwww.hamiltonnolan.com Offer the public a different vision, cowards.

Watching state court proceedings is always a great way to remind yourself that being a judge is probably a miserable job.

Been calling Bob Menendez a corrupt POS for some time now. I’ve always been disappointed in Dem leadership’s tolerance and indulgence of him. He should have been shunned long ago. Can’t reasonably point at GOP for acceptance of Santos when Dems have kept this guy around for so long.
End of feed.
