That is exactly the issue. Worksafe NZ is personified by the wet bus ticket. It bumbles from one failure to the next, all the while mumbling about 'education over enforcement'...

Like I'd imagine education over enforcement works for little businesses. But at some point consequences need to kick in—and the bigger the company the less excuse, the faster those consequences need to bite.

Kiwis don't respond well to 'education' and just see it as a loop hole...start out with a $5 fine and add a zero for every subsequent offence...
