The Friday morning market in front of the Saint Denis abbey is fantastic (as is the abbey, All The Royal Graves and Best Gothic but few tourists go there because Scary Banlieu). Everyone in their best mosque finery, great food ingredients and ancillaries. Real banlieu mood at its best.
Bastille farmers market (Thursday and Sunday) is city centre and a fantastic spread, also good for people watching since it's right next door to the Marais. More of a Levant mood. parisjetaime.com/shopping/mar...
