What's your radius of useful interest from DC?

I'd prefer to keep the commute somewhat under control, but it's also kind of mixed depending on % of time needed on site. Germantown/Columbia on the north side. I'd go into VA for the right role, but probably not far. Metro access would add to my willingness to violate the Commonwealth.
