Hi, Cally! Been a while! (I realize this first post is six months old but Kip only just reposted it.)

Long time no see! Yeah, I'm kind of low key here, have been posting replies but haven't had anything worth making an original post on happening in my life. Which is good! Kip's post has brought a few more old friends out of the woodwork, so I'm grateful.

I likewise don't post a lot. I do follow up to Kevin Maroney with how I did on the day's "Connections" game in the NYT, so I hope you're okay with seeing that. 😅

CompuSpend? That means you go back in computing a long way as as I do. i remember Compuspend as well as Delphi.

My first social media was FidoNet, a federated (heh) network of BBSs way WAY back in the day, but I was on CI$ until it died. I was never on Delphi or the Well, though I heard about them.

Welcome…I was on WWIVNet, myself. Not sure there was much FidoNet activity in my area back then (Mtl).

The echoes? That where I cut my furry fangs social media wise.

I was mostly on the SF echo and the filk echo, with some forays into the writing and cooking echos (even though I neither write nor cook). And the "Interuser" echo, which was going to create international harmony. I could get a reply from overseas in 2 days or sometimes less!
