Like, enrollments cratered across institutions during the pandemic lockdown at least partially because many students perceive online classes as low value. And that's classes with actual live instructors!

the main value of a college education is PEOPLE - you make friends, you make connections, you form networks
the other stuff you learn is insignificant in most cases
