did not expect this to be so like the old WILLIAM books, except with way more racism and handjobs I have four books by this guy that I’ve been carting from house to house for years without reading them. I din5 have this one though. That was his debut and, I think, uncharacteristic. The ones from Clockers onward are the ones to read. Lush Life is terrific. I hope so! I've loved his script work. Lush Life an exceptional book. But I've never tried his other stuff. 'The Breaks' is the other one I have. I have that too. Sadly not a novelisation of the Kurtis Blow song.
