Another set of neighbors say the "reality show" in question is not "Hoarders," but a house-flipping show. All the trash they added to the house last week is to make a more dramatic before/after effect. 1/3
They admit the trash part is skeevy, but say OTOH the house-flipping show will pay to renovate the house, so it won’t get torn down and replaced with a McMansion. The trees will live and Susan would’ve liked that.
We remain unhappy about disrespect to our friend’s memory...

If the TV contractors do the actual design/renovations, the owners ought to have an approval of design, inspection of work clause. There are a multitude of horror stories. Do Not Trust Producers.
