Noelle Quinn has talked about what an amazing experience it was for her to work with NBA Academy Africa a couple of years ago for a Woman's camp. Jewell Loyd is also now a WNBA ambassador working with NBA Africa.
We also got the first NBA Academy Africa player to be drafted in the NBA, which is huge, because the NBA has been trying to build this program for quite some time and the entirety of NBA Africa's existence is Dikembe Mutombo's legacy.
