Where I’m at right now is this frozen custard place in Fredericksburg, Virginia that’s pretty legendary for how good it is called Carl Jr.’s for a dessert stop on the road with my aunt. I have a strawberry malted shake.

I did my July tarot forecast for the skyline. Our recent past involved jubilance & celebration, the present is governed by Justice indicating legal crises, near future is great fulfillment of desires. From the visible world almost the end of a hard path, from the invisible willpower is moving fast.

Since it's the first of July I'll be delivering my monthly tarot forecast for my community on the skyline at some point today. I've been reading cards for nearly two decades & am a hoodoo practitioner who draws from New Orleans voodoo as well as other New World traditions that come from Ifa.

My sister who lives in LA made me cry. She sent gorgeous flowers to me with a beautiful note. It was a shock out of my deep sense of being unloved.

I looked up the definition of microagression to see if it applies to unsolicited medical advice. I do think it applies to comments to short people because we are an actual marginalized group. Unsolicited medical advice is not particular to the person’s marginalization but still aggression. Alt4me

These are some images of the Juneteenth event at a Black community center I went to earlier. I covered this for the radio, but many people there were those I’ve known well for years. A band played go go music, leftist groups did tabling in a tent, crafts were sold, they had free burgers & hot dogs.

Happy Juneteenth, may we see the total dismantling of the global system of white supremacy & lend ourselves to it as we see best fit!
