My latest post on where we are with Covid in England (likely at, or just after, the peak but it's been a big wave). And a look ahead... open.substack.com/pub/christin...
Is the current Covid wave in England peaking?open.substack.com Yes - probably. Plus looking ahead to the future.

KP.3 is not a FLiRT. FLiRT have a F456L and a R346T mutation. KP.3 does have a F456L mutation, but no R346T. Instead KP.3 has a Q493E mutation. Both FLiRT and KP.3 have sublineages with S31del, that make it faster. KP.3.1.1 (S31del) might give this wave another boost when it becomes dominant.

So, the May peak was probably the FLiRT peak and what you call the FLiRT peak, was probably the KP.3 peak. Will a KP.3.1.1 peak follow?

I think I may have caught it 2 weeks ago. I don't have any tests kits so couldn't verify but the virus was certainly worse than a simple cold.
