The cubs got 6 walks with the bases loaded in one inning today. 6! Most ever in an inning. 6 walked in run! That’s little league numbers. This game never stops amazing me.

Just remembered the Woodruff won’t be pitching for the Brewers this or likely any year again. And it makes me sad. We now return to regular programming.
Chris Simms said something interesting about Joe Barry in that he’s good against West Coast offenses and Mike McCarthy still uses a lot of that. Keep an eye on that. Might also explain why Barry’s defense sucks for the most part, as he’s more suited to stop Mike Holmgren vs Mike McDaniel
Going to be fun to see how this young Packers team plays today in this “Win and In” game. Pretty close to a playoff game in that although the Bears are not in a similar season extending win scenario, they do play to end their rival’s season. Not just a rival but a benchmark to measure their progress
Store bought tortilla chips have advanced a great deal in recent years. Here are my top chips..
1. El Nacho (thin restaurant style perfect)
2. Zack’s Mighty (thicker and heavy salt)
3. Tacupeto (light chip w fantastic crunch)
4. Mi Nina (kind of a hybrid of top 2)
Can’t believe I have to end 2023 watching this Packers defense. I have zero confidence in them pulling their end of the bargain Sunday night. Rivalry game, loser’s season over. Fun, but like I said, no faith in Defense at all.
Sometimes feels like the folks trying to make their point in political takes come out attacking and severely criticizing those they are trying to “persuade” - almost as if the intention isn’t reform but to antagonize
Brightside-the WRs are really coming along. Good to see Jones back. Tucker good again plus a nice game by Love.
But the defense is horrible and the scheme is horrible. And the Defensive Coordinator is horrible. If LaFleur doesn’t fire Barry tomorrow, he also is horrible. GoPackGo
Can’t wait til Packers stockpile the defense in the draft and run schemes that don’t seem to put any of them in positions to succeed. Rinse and repeat.
