was tumblr the original hellsite? i always thought that was what people called twitter. maybe everyone just thinks of their own social media network as "the hellsite?" curious
when i search “hellsite” i see a lot of people talking about tumblr but honestly i wouldn’t be surprised if the term outdates most of the big social medias

I honestly can't tell anymore. Was it always like this? Maybe there was more enthusiasm earlier on because people desperately wanted it to be a Twitter replacement. Maybe we're all just exhausted of social media altogether
