I’ve got a Bluesky invite code if anyone has a friend that needs one. Feel like posting these offers here is the way to go since they’ll be seen by people actually using the platform.

I’m treating Bluesky like a Twitter list now — dedicated posters who are fine being on a niche app as long as it’s not run by Musk/Zuck.

If this platform eventually becomes the primary home for fintwit (and I don’t know whether it will or won’t), I assume both liberal and conservative media personalities will be here too. Don’t think you’re going to have a fintwit/MSNBC network.

Not sure which site I’m gonna do jobs day posting this month. Will see where the vibes take me Friday morning.

Weird for this fracturing to happen over a ~long weekend and with markets so slow. Hard to know what’s the environment being dead and what’s all the platform messiness.

Is Election Twitter figuring out what they’re gonna do? We need that sorted by the time the primaries start.

Does this place have a plan to make money? Like, obviously servers aren’t free.

It’s been a boiling frog situation but maybe information doesn’t want to be free and information aggregation isn’t actually cheap.
