I just can't make myself watch a film/show with dubbing instead of subtitles. I wish I could, but it drives me crazy (unless it's comically bad dubbing like old Chinese martial arts films).
Yes! I recently discovered this lovely no stress show about a family of French real estate agents & not only is it dubbed, but the captions are different than the dubbing and occasionally I hear some words of French that I understand. Very disconcerting
Same. No matter how good the film, if I can't hear the inflection in the original actor's voice, even though I don't speak the language,, I feel like it's a waste of time.
