Ok, but the t shirt arrived today and it is really fucking good. It'd be marginally cheaper to drive to Wales and pick more up myself, but I am tempted.

Made the mistake of buying a t-shirt from the UK. Customs, brokerage, VAT etc. is more than the cost of the shirt. I must remember not to shop with the neighbours, but skip them and go straight to the continent.

Was in a meeting with a non-Irish person that had dragged on past the point of usefulness, so I said "I'm sure you're busy, so I'll let you get on with it" They said they weren't that busy, and kept talking. I was powerless. My most potent tool for telling someone to go away was rendered useless.

Trump is so bad as a strongman. Easily bought, preemptively rolls over, has no interest in defending strategic interests. Weak and pathetic.

It's nice that I've gone through four days of major decadence and minor debauchery, but it's even nicer that I kept up the exercise regime before, during and after. Not kidding myself that the last few days have been good for my health, but also reassured that they coulda been much worse.
