Anybody that thinks a vote for Biden is anything other than a vote for stable continuity is kidding themselves.
Even if he totally loses on his deathbed, he's still going to be a big-hearted lib that really wants the best for everybody, even if you think he's going about it the wrong way.
You think he's already lost it? Well, the people calling his shots on education, health coverage, labor, judicial appointments are going to keep on keeping on. More appointments like kbj, more debt forgiveness, more abortion coverage, more pro labor DOL rulings.
Maybe you want to 4d chess yourself into believing that abandoning him now will help now electrically, contrary to all the polling. That doing so will unleash some untold political Messiah who can overcome the plain imagery of rats fleeing a sinking ship that will be everywhere if this happens.
Just don't kid yourself that some great truth was unveiled, or that abandoning Biden, or worse the entire Biden administration by abandoning Harris as well, will be seen as anything other than capitulation.
Can’t it just be a vote AGAINST Trump? Or is it that people just don’t feel that Trump is an existential danger to democracy and human rights that I do?
I don't know, we all live in a world where a vote for Biden is all at the same time all of those things, a vote against Trump, a vote against Jan 6 insurrection, a vote against the current supreme court, a vote for a more centrist America, a vote for a more left America and so on, indifferentiable.
