It's always interesting to see people talk shit about corporations and organizations as if these things are independent evils and not a community of humans doing evil together.
Humans identify, decide, choose, and act.
Corporate and governmental systems give humans the excuse, but it's humans building and maintaining when they could choose to instead build something different.
I agree though the corporate system seems well designed for the application of evil.
I’m absolutely not excusing it, you are right, but the structure works very well for what it is intended to do. I marvel at that bit.

I would suggest that even creating the nameless/faceless stockholders that the CEO/Board must appease creates a system top to bottom that pressures and incentives the behaviors nobody really wants at the end of the day; and so most often rewards those humans willing if not eager to do evil.
