In the last few years, a pandemic, failed relationship, and demanding job all pulled me away from Furry leaving me feeling isolated. I lost my connection to my community.
It showed just how important Furry is to me! How the support, care, and love shared by Furs has had a massive impact on my life.
It’s really going to be fascinating to me to see the way in which we form community—especially in US & Canadian societies—as old institutions of gathering, like church, disappear and suburban sprawl continues to physically separate and isolate us more and more.

I wish furries were as visible in everyday life as they are at cons. There's something magical about walking down the street and seeing tails wagging or colorful badges that encapsulate the beauty and truth in themselves that people get to share during those brief periods.
A weekend filled with good friends casually hanging outdoors in little-to-no clothing where you can sniff and lick and hump and connect any time you’d like {ʕᵕ̤֊̫ᵕ̤ʔ}
A place where bodies aren’t shamed and sex isn’t taboo. Wish I could be there every weekend!
Sometimes I feel the dreams I have are too ambitious for myself. But I guess the only one holding myself back is me, yeah? I guess I just wish I had folks to share them with.. I’ve always been more of a team-oriented person than just going it solo. I just hope I have enough to contribute, myself!
