Demscore enables not only horizontal but also vertical data extension. For example, merging H-DATA Historical Cabinet data (1919-1945) and REPDEM PAGED data (1944-2022) on a compatible 'Output Unit' like V-Dem Country-Date creates a dataset covering cabinet formations going back 100+ years in time!
