OpenAI and defense contracting. Is there any recent or current info? I found the stuff from Jan that they were opening to it and a few claims they had a deal on. Ex-NSA general on the board in June.

ty I saw the first one, but Azure deploys a lot of dumb shit otoh i found one where a CIA guy told how they were using an LLM as a search engine and went "yep this won't go wrong nope"

No direct knowledge, but I've worked with an org that usese it for on-the-fly first-pass translation of auto-transcribed voice communications. Could imagine the NSA being interested in something like that.
