I’m working on a package design for these cookies. My original thought was a card. Here’s my prototype. I may need to make the circle a bit larger to accommodate the bag the cookie will be sealed into.
Introducing my please clap cookies! I was inspired by @wyattswickedgoods.com please clap feed. Sometimes you need a cookie to go with those words of encouragement.

Today’s bake! I had an excess of egg whites from making ice cream so I made angel food cake. We used the rest of our fruit salad from breakfast. And I made fresh whipped topping.
Today’s run is brought to you by the letter S. I started with sunshine and sweat, then a storm blew in and I was soaked by sprinkles. Then suffocated by steam from the street!
Today’s brunch was Fluffy Austrian Torn Pancakes from Smitten Kitchen. They are a little extra work, but they are fun to eat. Not pictured is the fresh fruit salad we also had. I piled it onto my pancakes with some homemade peach jam! So yummy!
This very large box of yarn showed up for my next project! Hopefully, I can focus for the next few months and get the dolls completed before my son grows out of watching Tumble Leaf.
We traipsed all over Kennedy Space Center today! I was sporting my newest creation! I had enough fabric leftover from the shirts I made at Father’s Day to make myself a dress! I added trim detail with bias tape. And it had pockets! 🧵🪡🧶
I really like cinnamon rolls! I tried out this Swedish version. It’s a little extra work because you cut thin strips of dough and twist them into a bun shape but they were really good!
I was cleaning a pile of stuff in my creating space and found this abandoned sewing project. I didn’t like how the waist fit and the fabric under my arms bunched. So today I hacked it apart and adjusted the bodice. Then I added a panel to thread elastic through. Then sewed it back together.
Started a new pot of spring onions. We had a pot for years but they stopped growing well. I used the leftover bottoms from a grocery store bunch to get this one started.
Our fun activity for the day was making a shrinky-dink. We did one as a test since I haven’t made these before. The best part was watching it shrink in the oven!
Tonight’s dinner! Chicken Marsala with rice and broccoli. We had a few hen of the woods mushrooms left from Monday so I tossed those in as well. The only person struggling with this meal was me while cooking!
