fun fact: Dementus' motorcycle chariot is built around a radial bike, which means it's powered by an aircraft engine (specifically a Rotec RT2800) (!). the bikes that flank it are modified BMW R18s, and if you look closely you can see they have li'l horsetails on them

rewatching this ambush & chase sequence in Furiosa a lot lately, still in awe of it. Tom Burke says that the moment the marauders become airborne, the screenplays reads: "The Mortifiers become the Mortiflyers."
