Helen Kennedy: And what is she trying to gain from this?

In a just world, this photo of Nikki Haley autographing an Israeli bomb and adding the words "finish them" would end her career as quickly and finally as Cricket ended Noem's. Vile. Just so vile.

The thing that really gets me with her is that she knows better. She just doesn’t care. Truly vile indeed.

And what is she trying to gain from this?

Favor with Trump is my guess. Or getting the MAGA vote in 2028. Long shot for sure. She’s also just a cruel human being as well.

Cruel and stupid.

She's fully embraced that MAGA is indeed all about inflicting suffering. If the pushback reaches her, she'll insist she means 'finish Hamas', but it still comes off as urging war crimes to me.

She signed it hours after the strikes on the refugee camp in Rafah.

She’s just so vile. I will never get over how people can be this cruel.

Perhaps even being cruel to trigger the libs.

My guess? She’s busy positioning herself as a possible vp or as a replacement candidate if Trump goes down…

Replacement, yes. I don't (yet) see her debasing herself quite enough to accept a veep slot, esp since I think she knows he quite well can lose

Interesting - I see her 180 turnabout from her rhetoric as a primary candidate to her embrace and endorsement of him as quite debasing. I’m not quite sure how she could go lower - full on nazism probably isn’t a realistic option for her, although I do not doubt that she would embrace it if it was.

An Indian-American acquaintance of mine spoke recently about his experiences of white people inviting him into bashing other POCs and it was a disorienting invitation into seeing how people like Haley may be operating. (Guy absolutely declined to join the racism, ftr.)
